ATLANTA – A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Cartersville. Texaco Food Mart, located at 1401 West Ave., sold a ticket that matched the first five winning numbers from the Feb. 20 drawing.

Two additional lucky tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Port Wentworth and Savannah from Saturday’s drawing.

Winning numbers from the drawing were: 11-12-15-16-54 and the Powerball was 25.

A winner has not yet come forward to claim the $1 million prize. Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the drawing date on the ticket to claim a prize.

Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $236 million to a single annuity winner.

The Powerball jackpot began rolling Jan. 16 and has rolled 12 times.

Powerball offers two jackpot payment options: the $236 million jackpot prize paid over 29 years in 30 graduated payments; or the cash option, which is approximately $156.3 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play.
