A Bartow County deputy’s response to a domestic dispute at Cartersville Medical Center yesterday morning led to the eventual arrest of a suspect who was wanted for dozens of charges including 30 counts of sexual assault in South Carolina.
35-year-old Javar Wilson and a female were both checked into the Emergency Room to be seen when the female said Javar balled his fists and got in her face during an argument.
While the deputy was speaking to the female in a separate room, she informed the deputy that Javar had given the hospital a fake name. That’s when the BCSO ran his real name and found out about all of the warrants. When the deputy went to talk to Javar, he had fled.
The BCSO learned that Javar was an absconded sex offender who had been staying in Bartow County at the Guest House on East Felton Road. Another deputy located Javar on Felton Road and detained him. He lied about his name to the arresting deputy.
At the time of the report, the only Bartow County warrant secured for Javar Wilson was giving a false name to a law enforcement officer.
