According to the Georgia State Patrol, t his occurred around 6:42 p.m. on June 30. A 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer and tractor trailer were traveling northbound on I-75. The Mitsubishi was in the outside lane and tractor trailer was in the middle lane. The Mitsubishi hydroplaned and traveled into the middle lane of I-75. The front left side of the truck struck the left middle and rear side of Mitsubishi.
Brianna Johnson, 20, of Calhoun was driving the Mitsubishi. She was injured and taken to Kennestone Hospital. Her passenger, Aubri Johnson, of Calhoun was transported to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Donald Perrone, 45, of Naples, FL was driving the tractor trailer. He was injured and taken to Cartersville Medical Center.
