As of 9:50 Monday night, the only official road closure in Bartow County that we know of is at Parr Wade Road. Kirk Road has also been reported as impassable.
Officials have placed high water signs at the following trouble spots: Johnson Mountain Road, Auburn Drive off Burnt Hickory road, Rudy York Road at the Green Valley Golf Course, Gaines Road, Mission Road at Burnt Hickory Road, State Route 113 at Covered Bridge Road, State Route 20 at Branton Road, and Sugar Valley Road between Road 3 South and Martin Road.
Unofficially, we have flood reports from Sugar Valley Road at Road 3 South, Old Tennessee Road close to Dysart Road, Griffin Road at Two Run Trace, Gaines Road, and Pine Vista Circle.
The City of Cartersville has reported lots of rain that covered some road momentarily and has receded. We have no reports of trees down. Everyone is urged to look for standing water and be extra careful when driving.
