A pregnant woman involved in a two-vehicle crash Sunday was airlifted to an area hospital for medical treatment. On Sunday, March 23, 2025, Georgia State Patrol Troopers investigated a two-vehicle collision on Highway 41 at Griffin Road that resulted in four serious injuries. A silver Honda van was traveling north on Highway 41 in the left lane, while a grey Chevrolet Traverse SUV was traveling south on the highway. According to reports, the driver of the Honda was distracted, failed to yield, and turned left in front of the Chevrolet SUV, causing it to strike the right front of the Honda van. The impact caused serious injuries to both the driver and the front passenger of the Chevrolet SUV, as well as injuries to two passengers of the Honda van. The female passenger of the Chevrolet was 30 weeks pregnant and was airlifted to Kennestone Hospital. The male driver of the Chevrolet SUV and a male passenger from the Honda Van were transported by EMS to Floyd Medical Center. A female passenger from the Honda van was transported to Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center by EMS. Charges are currently pending.
