Two people were injured in an early morning crash on highway 113 in bartow county.  According to a press release from the Georgia state patrol, the crash occurred TUESDAY AROUND 5:30 a.m.  a 2000 Chevrolet IMPALA TRAVELING north on SR 113 attempted a left turn onto a work access road and struck a 2011 Nissan Versa traveling south on SR 113.  The Chevrolet turned into the Nissan’s path of travel and Chevrolet struck the Nissan.  Area of impact was in the approximate center of the southbound lane.

Taryn Elaine Hamilton, age 18, of Cartersville was driving the Chevrolet, she was injured and taken to Cartersville Medical.  She was charged with Failure to Yield While Turning Left.  Keiko Swain, age 45, of Acworth was driving the Nissan.  She was injured and taken to Cartersville Medical.
