An accident in Kingston yesterday afternoon left two people dead. At around 3:30, a white Ford Super Duty truck was traveling east on U.S. 411 when the driver failed to maintain his lane near Hardin Bridge Road. The truck left the right side of the roadway, crossed a ditch, and struck a tree.
Bartow County EMS arrived to find a male passenger dead at the scene. The male driver was transported via Life Force helicopter to Cartersville Medical Center due to him going into cardiac arrest while in flight to a trauma center. He was later pronounced dead.
As of late last night, the next of kin for both victims had not been notified and the report is not complete.
