Cartersville Police arrested 28-year-old Ruben Luis McCain of Cartersville and booked him into the county jail early Monday morning for multiple charges including aggravated assault and two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree for allegedly maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel or excessive physical or mental pain.
Bartow County deputies arrested 76-year-old Ellen Carolyn Mathison of Cartersville and booked her into the jail on Monday afternoon for cruelty to children in the first degree for allegedly maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel or excessive physical or mental pain.
