The House Republican Caucus unanimously re-elected State Representative Trey Kelley to continue serving as the House Majority Whip for the 2021-2022 legislative term during caucus elections earlier today. Kelley represents District 16, which includes Polk County and portions of Bartow and Haralson counties.

Majority Whip Kelley is responsible for monitoring legislation as it moves through both chambers of the General Assembly. He also helps the Majority Caucus members understand the details of bills and resolutions better.

This upcoming term will be Majority Whip Kelley’s fifth in the Georgia House of Representatives and his second term as Majority Whip.
