Bartow County EMS worked an accident near the Bartow/Floyd county line Thursday evening. According to reports, a tree fell on a vehicle travelling on highway 293 towards Kingston. The roof was partially ripped from the vehicle. The driver, a 19 year old male was conscious but showed signs of head trauma. The Bartow County Fire Department cut the door from the car to allow the victim to be removed from the vehicle. He was transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.ree
