Sixteen-year-old Christian Austin of Cartersville died in the wreck that occurred around 8:25 a.m. on Old Grassdale Road. According to Georgia State Patrol reports, initial indication is that a 2005 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Old Grassdale Road when the driver, a sixteen-year-old male lost control of the car, ran off the roadway, and struck a house. There were three juvenile occupants in the vehicle. The back seat passenger is identified as Christopher Cunningham of Cartersville. The front seat passenger, Christian Austin was fatally injured. The driver and back seat passenger were injured and transported to Cartersville Medical Center.
