Just after 11 Wednesday morning 27-year Brent Andrew Brannon of Columbus, GA was shot by an Emerson Police Officer. According to Georgia State Patrol, the Brannon was shot on the interstate the near mile marker 288. Emerson police were on the scene of the traffic stop, no officers were injured. The GBI has been called in to investigate.
