A lot of talk has surrounded Bartow County in the last week concerning House Bill 655, which concerns senior tax exemption. The bill was not passed and therefore will not be on the ballot in November for county citizens. WBHF’s Earnestine Young-Jones spoke with Bartow County School Board member Terry Lee Eggert about State Senator Bruce Thompson, who was outspoken about the issue of the past week, and what lies ahead.
