Georgia Stone Products withdraws quarry application

Commissioner Steve Taylor will not hear a controversial application for a limestone quarry off highway 140 outside Adairsville. Ahead of quarry hearing, Adairsville locals point to endangered species, property values

   On Oct 4, the Bartow County Planning Commission will hear an application for a proposed limestone quarry off Highway 140, just outside Adairsville city limits.
