According to Georgia State Patrol reports, the two vehicle collission occurred Sunday, July 23, at approximately 1:45 p.m.  A pickup truck with a trailer carrying furniture was traveling east on GA 20 and a Lincoln Town car was traveling southbound on Hamilton Crossing attempting to cross over to Gillam Springs. The pickup truck struck the town car after the car failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign. The driver and one of its passengers were transported to Floyd Medical Center. The other passenger was airlifted to Grady. The report is not complete.

First responders were called to a two vehicle accident on U.S. 411 at Hamilton Crossing Road on Sunday afternoon.

A male, who was unconscious and unresponsive, had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. Bartow County EMS began treatment as soon as possible to the victim with severe head and chest trauma. He was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

One Bartow County ambulance took a female with an altered mental status and a possible hip fracture to Floyd Medical Center. Another Bartow County ambulance took a different male patient with abrasions to his face to Floyd Medical Center as well.

All individuals in the second vehicle advised they were OK and were not transported to a hospital.
