Cartersville property owners will decide a referendum on a School Tax Exemption for seniors in November. The legislative session ended without an agreement on legislation for Bartow property owners. State Senator Bruce Thompson spoke about the issue on WBHF Saturday morning. We also have statements from Representatives Mitchell Scoggins and Matthew Gambill expressing their disappointment that Bartow property owners may not have the same opportunity. They vow to continue to work for a school tax exemption for Bartow residents.
