The Adairsville Tigers were big road favorites over Haralson County Friday night, but not many were ready for the impact that Treylon Sheppard would have for the Rebels in the 51-28 upset.

Sheppard rushed for over 200 yards in the first half and finished the day with five touchdowns in the game. Haralson County got a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Phillip Holloman to start off its scoring barrage and added a 57-yard touchdown run from Sheppard to give the Rebels an early 14-0 lead.

Mason Boswell would score on rushing touchdowns to help tie up the score at 14 apiece, but then Haralson County when on a scoring run. The Rebels went on a 37-14 scoring run to end the game and give the Tigers something to think about as they look to host North Murray next week.

Adairsville is now 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in region play.
