The Cartersville Fire Department will be performing some additional maintenance on the severe weather sirens that are located in the city on Tuesday, September 12th to insure that the warning system is working properly. This work will not occur if there is the potential of bad weather.

Cartersville Fire Chief Scott Carter stated, “ I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause but it is necessary. Being prepared and insuring that all systems are working properly is critical to the protection of our community, citizens, and guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”
