ATLANTA (December 12, 2013) – Senate President Pro Tempore David Shafer (R – Duluth) will participate in the swearing-in ceremony for Sen.-Elect Bruce Thompson on Thursday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the Senate Chamber at the Georgia State Capitol. Thompson was elected to serve Georgia Senate District 14 in a run-off election on December 3, 2013.
