Another day led to another wildfire in Bartow County over the weekend. The Bartow County Fire Department and Georgia Forestry responded to a wildfire on Saturday around the Area of Wade Road and Norton Road and spent a large amount of time on the scene. Chief Warren with the Bartow County fire Department said that several engines and stations responded to the fire, which destroyed 75 to 85 acres. The fire department spent some time on Sunday extinguishing hot spots in the area. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
