CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – As part of its integrated roadside vegetation management program, Georgia DOT routine maintenance crews resume today their work on trimming overgrown vegetation along State Route (SR) 140 in Bartow County. Work will proceed daily Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Integrated roadside vegetation management is a method to bring together social and cultural elements, biological concerns, and mechanical treatments to economically manage roadsides for motorist safety, environmental health and visual quality.
