WALESKA, GA (Feb. 8, 2020) — Reinhardt University is canceling events scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8, due to accumulating winter weather.
Residential students on campus are encouraged to stay on campus and not drive. Gordy Dining Center is operating on its regular weekend hours.
“Roads are treacherous around campus, and students should keep their vehicles parked. The snow makes for an exceptionally beautiful and fun campus, but we want everyone to remain safe,” said Dean of Students Walter May. “Students may visit the Gordy Dining Center today for their meals during the dining center’s regular weekend hours.”
The RU basketball games scheduled for today will be rescheduled to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday in Brown Athletic Center. Please stay up to date on any athletics events at ReinhardtEagles.com or by following Reinhardt Athletics on social media.
The Funk Heritage Center is closed Feb. 8, and any decisions regarding opening Sunday, Feb. 9 will be made Sunday morning.
