On Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at approximately 0645 hours, Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Criminal Investigators were dispatched to 11 Johnson Lane NE / Woodwright Industries in Cartersville, Ga. in reference to a unresponsive male subject laying in the parking lot later determined to be a homicide investigation.
According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, a passing motorist reported to the Bartow County E911 center a male subject was lying in the parking lot of Woodwright Industries and he was possibly bleeding. Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have identified the deceased male subject as Robert Ashley Carr, 36, of White, Ga. Carr had several gunshot wounds and his body will be taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) Crime Lab to determine a cause of death.
