Adairsville Dominates North Murray

The Adairsville Tigers continued their dominance in region play with 56-10 victory over the North Murray Mountaineers by a score of 56-17. Once again, the combination of Marcus Childers and Sidnee Johnson proved to be too much for their region opponent.

Woodland Blanked By Dalton

Still in search of the first win, the Woodland Wildcats (0-8, 0-6) fell the Dalton Catamounts (8-1, 6-0) by a score of 48-0 on Friday night. The Wildcats were over-matched on both sides of the ball and were unable to stop the Catamounts putting up big, offensive numbers, nor were thy able to sustain any drives offensively. The Wildcats will again look for that elusive first win of the 2014 season next week, when they play Sequoyah.

Cass Too Much For River Ridge

The Cass Colonels (4-4, 2-3), coming straight off a bye week, and beat the River Ridge Knights (3-5, 1-3) by a score of 41-26. The Colonels were losers of three of their last four and were staring playoff elimination in the face, but was able to hold off the Knights rally late in the second half. The Colonels will play a home game against Rome next week at 7:30, before their play-in game on November 8th.
