Emergency crews were called to a automobile crash involving numerous injuries Friday night.  According to reports from the Georgia state patrol, the one-vehicle crash included four injuries.  the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. Friday.  A 1999 Ford Expedition was travelling northbound on I-75 when the right rear tire blew causing the driver to lose control.  The vehicle struck the guardrail in the median, rotated across the interstate, overturned then crossed back to the inside guardrail before coming to rest.

 

The driver of the vehicle, Crystal Jones, age 34, from Chattanooga was taken to Floyd Medical for treatment and she was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked, no proof of insurance, and child restraint violation.  Three passengers, all from Chattanooga, were injured:  Nicole Kennemore, 19, taken to Floyd Medical; Torrey Brooks, 9, ejected and taken to Floyd Medical; and Lamar Lumsden, 12, airlifted to Erlanger
