May 2, 2014 – On Thursday, May 8th at 9:00 AM the City of Cartersville Gas Department, Fire Department and Police Department will be holding a drill exercise to practice how an actual gas leak would be handled. Partners will include Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) and the Public Service Commission (PSC). It will take place at the Senior Aquatic Center and will be a first time event. Bartow County emergency teams will later join the exercise so strategies can be discussed on how to handle a problem on a bigger scale.
