Several law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the Waffle House on Glade Road Sunday night, in reference to a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, Bartow County EMS found that the male victim had not been stabbed, but had been cut.
The man reported that when he woke up from sleeping behind Circle K at Kangaroo Express on Glade Road in Acworth Sunday night, he had a two-inch cut on his left arm and an aching head. The victim then went to Waffle House. EMS transported him to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
A Bartow County SHeriff’s Office deputy investigated a local homeless camp to find more information about the incident. Anyone with Information on this incident is asked to call the BCSO Criminal Investigations division at 770-382-5050 extension 6030.
