Michael Howard Nagel

A Summerville man with an active Bartow County warrant was arrested on Monday after being told not to mow a woman’s yard.

The Summerville News reported that Michael Nagel showed up uninvited to a house in Summerville and wanted to mow the lawn. The resident refused because she already had a contract with a lawn service.

While the woman was at work, Nagel allegedly showed back up and started cutting the grass. When she arrived home, she ran him off and told him not to cut the grass. She called police and told them about the encounter.

Later that evening, Nagel showed up again. Luckily, a law enforcement officer was there. Nagel told the officer that he returned to ask for payment on the grass he did mow.

The officer ran his information into a database and showed that Michael Nagel had a Bartow County felony violation of probation warrant from June 29th. He was booked into the Bartow County Jail on Tuesday morning.
