The library will have abundance of magical activity on Saturday, October 14th as the organizers and performers or Atlanta’s nationally recognized immersive fantasy and Harry Potter convention, CONjuration, will be transforming the library into a magical world. The event is for all ages, especially for fans of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and other books and movies that involve magic.
There will be a live version of the Harry Potter game, Qudditch, on the library lawn, live-action Wizard Chess, an appearance by the Georgia Reptile Society, Harry Potter-themed crafts, inflatables, and much more. There will be a fantasy cosplay and costume contest and kids and adults alike are invited to come dressed as their favorite Harry Potter or fantasy characters. Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter with a fun and magical afternoon at the library!
The event is free of charge and will take place on Saturday, October 14th from 12- 4:00 p.m. at the Cartersville Public Library.
