At the collegiate level, Georgia Highlands College split a doubleheader with Wallace State, by losing the first game 4-2 and winning the second game 6-3. The Chargers are 14-10 on the season and will have four games this week, before starting conference play next Tuesday.

At the high school level, Cass fell to 3-3 on the season, as it lost 11-1 to Griffin Tuesday night. The Adairsville baseball team fell to Kennesaw Mountain by score of 5-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers are now 2-2 on the season as they get ready for region play on Friday.

In soccer, the Adairsville girls beat Lakeview-Fort Ogelthorpe last night by a score of 6-0. The Cartersville girls also picked up a win last night, as they beat Southeast Whitfield by a score of 2-1.

Today in baseball, Cass host North Oconee at 5:30 at LakePoint in Emerson for a non-region contest. Woodland and Rome will play Game two of their series at Rome at 5:50. Woodland will be searching for their first region win of the season.

In golf, Adairsville will host Model at 4:00.

Tomorrow on the sports agenda, Carersvile will play Montverde Academy at LakePoint for a baseball game at 3:35.

In golf, Adairsville will travel to Gordon Central for a 4:00 tee time.

And in soccer, Adairsville will host Coahulla Creek at 5:30.
