Cartersville tailback Tiamon Pennymon signed a commitment with Eastern Arizona on Friday. Pennymon was a catalyst for the Canes during the championship run this season.

Three Bartow County baseball teams were in action on Monday, and all three were fell to their opponents. Excel lost to Christian Heritage by a score of 6-0, Cass fell to Creekview by a score of 8-1 and Woodland fell to River Ridge by a score of 15-5.
