Today in softball, all five local teams are in action. Excel will travel to Trion at 4:30, Adairsville will travel to Haralson at 5:30, Woodland will travel to Kell at 5:30, Cartersville will travel to Sandy Creek at 5:55 and Cass will travel to Hiram at 5:55.
Four local schools have volleyball scheduled for tonight. Adairsville will travel with Dalton to Fannin County at 5 PM, Cartersville will travel with Woodstock to Riverwood at 5PM, Woodland will travel with North Cobb Christian to Hiram at 5PM and Cass will host North Murray and Coosa at 5:30.
Tomorrow high school football returns to the county with all four local teams in action with kickoffs scheduled for 7:30. Woodland will travel to Villa Rica, Adairsville will host Ringgold, Cartersville will host Hapeville Charter and Cass will host Hiram.
