The Georgia Highlands baseball team got back to their winning ways on Wednesday, as they beat Cleveland State by a score of 12-2. The Chargers are now 5-4 on the season and will next play on Saturday against St. Louis Community College in a doubleheader starting at 1:00.

The Georgia Highlands Chargers won their 26th consecutive game as they beat Chattahoochee Tech on the road Wednesday night by a score of 91-85. The Chargers are ranked second in the NJCAA rankings and are 26-1 on the season with their next game coming up on Saturday against South Georgia State, which is ranked 18th in the rankings.

Also in basketball, the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes boys team ended their season last night with a 63-46 loss to St. Pius. They finished the season 20-7 overall and 12-2 in region play.

Today on the soccer slate, Adairsville will host Haralson at 5:30.

Tomorrow Woodland will travel to Pepperell for a baseball game at 4:30.

Four local teams have soccer games tomorrow. Adairsville will travel to Bremen at 5:30, Woodland will travel to North springs at 5:30, Cass will host Cedartown at 5:30 and Cartersville will travel to Chestatee at 5:55.
