The Adairsville Lady Tigers soccer team fell to Savannah Arts Academy on Saturday by a score of 2-0 in the semifinals. This was the furthest that the program had been in its history, as it finished with a 17-2-1 overall record and 9-1 in region play.

The Georgia Highlands baseball team split a doubleheader with West Georgia Tech over the weekend, as its season came to a close. The Chargers finished with a 27-29 overall record and were 12-16 in conference play. The Chargers are the fourth seed in the conference playoffs, which are hosted at Darton, and will play Gordon on Wednesday at noon.

The Cartersville baseball team will continue its playoff run on tomorrow as it plays Buford in a doubleheader with the first game coming at 4:30 and the second game coming 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. The high school baseball playoffs are presented by Century Bank of Georgia and can be heard on AM 1450 WBHF and FM 100.3, with pregame coming your way at 4:20 this Tuesday.
