On Friday, three Bartow County football teams squared off in scrimmages to get them ready for the 2016 season, which starts this Friday. Cartersville defeated 2015 Westminster, AAA state champion, by a score of 59-7, while Adairsville beat Woodland by a score of 23-15. Again, the season starts this upcoming Friday and WBHF is your stop for high school football all season long.
Today in softball, Excel will welcome Model at 4:30 and Adairsville will welcome North Murray at 5:55.
Tomorrow in softball, four Bartow County teams are in action. Woodland will host Cass at 5:00, Cartersville will travel to Central at 5:30 and Adairsville will host Lakeview-Fort Ogelthorpe at 5:55.
Tomorrow in volleyball, Woodland will play Meadowcreek and Wheeler on the road at 5:00, Cass will travel to Model at 5:30, and Adairsville will travel on the road to play Pickens and Murray County at 6:00.
