Over the weekend, the Adairsville girls picked up their first lost of the season, as they fell to Sonorvaille by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Lady Tigers are now 12-1 on the season and 6-1 in region play. The Cartersville boys soccer team defeated Woodland by a score of 4-1 on Friday night. The Canes are now 10-3-1 on the season, while Woodland is now 0-11. The Lady Cats however, blanked the Lady Canes on Friday night by a score of 2-0. The Lady Cats improved to 6-7 on the season, while Cartersville received its first loss on the season and is now 11-1.

The Cartersville baseball team picked up a win Friday night, as it beat Heritage by a score of 3-1. Cartersville improved to 5-1 in region play and 9-7 on the season. The Cass baseball team picked up a win Friday night, as it beat River Ridge by a score of 4-2. With the win, the Colonels improve to 4-8 in region play and 5-12 overall.

In college baseball over the weekend, the Georgia Highlands Chargers earned a conference split against West Georgia two games apiece. The Chargers are now 19-17 overall and 4-4 in GCAA conference play.

Today in baseball, Cass will host Woodland at 5:55.

Tomorrow in baseball Cartersville will travel to LaFayette at 5:30 and Adairsville will host Lakeview-Fort Ogelthorpe at 5:55.
