Floyd County deputies arrested 56-year-old Jonathan Bernard Kornegay of Cartersville at The Home Depot in Rome on Monday for conversion of payments for real property improvements. He allegedly took $2,000 as a down payment to perform a home improvements job on March 29th, but never completed the work.
Back in 2011, he was arrested in Floyd County for felony theft by conversion. He allegedly took $1,006 from someone for electrical work that was never done.
