As of seven p.m. Thursday, the Georgia Department of Public Health has noted 1,643 confirmed cases of COVID-19 – 93 of those in Bartow County. About 31 percent of the state total have been hospitalized and over three percent have died.
Cartersville Medical Center currently has eight patients that are positive for COVID-19 who remain as inpatients. There are 32 patients currently in-house who are pending test results.
