Bartow County EMS and Fire responded to an accident on State Route 140 near Big Oak Tree Road in Adairsville today involving a tractor trailer and a passenger car.
The Georgia State Patrol investigation revealed that 45-year-old Jason Manning of Plainville was driving his green Honda vehicle west on State Route 140 negotiating a curve. A tractor trailer was traveling east while negotiating the same curve. The Honda crossed the center line and struck the tractor trailer head-on in the eastbound lane. Manning died at the scene.
