The Woodland Wildcats (1-4, 0-3) were unable to stop the rushing attack of the Hiram Hornets on Friday night as they fell 30-0. This is Woodland’s fourth consecutive loss following its opening night win over Southeast Whitfield.
Jalen Townser led the Hiram rushing attack with four rushing touchdowns in the contest. Both teams committed their fair share of penalties, however, which negated several touchdowns between the two teams. Hiram had 18 first-half penalties including 10 in the second quarter.
Woodland will travel to Rome next week for a 7:30 PM kickoff.
