GDOL to sponsor career expo in Bartow County on Oct. 2

 

ATLANTA – Job seekers in Cartersville and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to connect with businesses trying to fill current or future job openings during a career expo sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL). The expo will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, from 1-4 p.m. at the Clarence Brown Conference Center, located at 5450 State Route 20, Cartersville.

The expo will feature a number of area employers, who will be hiring or discussing current and future employment opportunities. Applicants should bring copies of their resume, and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment. This expo is being co-sponsored by Goodwill, Must Ministries, Bartow College and Career Academy, Clarence Brown Conference Center, Chattahoochee Technical College, and Georgia Highlands College.

Expo attendees who also participate in a Saturday, Sept. 27, Job Readiness Event will be allowed early access to the expo.
