ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Sunrise Community of Georgia recruit nurses to fill positions in Cartersville and Rome on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the GDOL’s Cartersville Career Center located at 19 Felton Place.
The company will be recruiting licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nurses’ assistants. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED) and a class C drivers license. In addition, licensed practical nurses must have completed some college education and have a current medical license to practice in Georgia.
Full-time positions are available in the Rome area, while part-time positions will be in Cartersville.
Salaries range from $15 an hour to $17.50 for LPNs and $8.25 to $9 an hour for nurses assistants.
The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
