ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help BFS USA recruit a number of workers for its state-of-the art manufacturing facility under construction in Bartow County. The plant, set to begin operations in the spring of next year, will manufacture cushion vinyl flooring.
The company is recruiting foremen, skilled machine operators, electricians, mechanics, printing operators, paste kitchen operators, colorists and ink makers and compounding managers.
The recruitment will be held Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bartow County/Cartersville Chamber of Commerce, 122 West Main St. in Cartersville. GDOL staff will be available to assist the job seekers with company applications and screen the applicants for the employer.
After qualified applicants are selected, they will be required to participate in a two-hour training and testing program either Saturday or Sunday, June 26-27. Those who complete the program will have an in-depth interview with the company.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
