ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruitment for sheet-vinyl manufacturer Beauflor USA on Thursday, Sept. 15, in Cartersville.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cartersville Career Center located at 19 Felton Place. GDOL staff will be on site to help screen the applicants.
The company is recruiting a number of workers for four different positions: industrial maintenance electricians, industrial maintenance mechanics, forklift pole hyster drivers, and handy men to work in facilities.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Applicants for the electrician and mechanic positions must have a technical degree, with a bachelor’s in their respective fields preferred.
Forklift drivers must have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), and a pole hyster certification, while handy men must have a high school education.
Experience for the jobs range from at least one year for the forklift operators to at least five years for the mechanics and electricians.
Salaries will depend on the positions and experience of the applicants.
