ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) and Crossroads Career Ministry of Bartow County will co-sponsor a career fair in Cartersville on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 112 E. Church St. in Cartersville. GDOL staff will be on site to assist the applicants.
Employers and services providers who have already registered include: Apollo Staffing, Auto Zone, Chart Industries, Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College, Lakepoint Station, M.C. Whorter, Mohawk, North Georgia Staffing, NOTS Logistics and Pilgrim’s Pride.
All of the employers will be available to assist job seekers with preparation on conducting a positive job search and career planning.
Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
Job seekers planning to attend the event are encouraged to visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload, or prepare, a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account and resume expedites the interview process.
