Emerson Police Chief, Stan Bradley told WBHF that during a downpour , a car spun out on the southbound side of I-75 striking the river bridge near exit 287.  The accident is described as minor.   A vehicle travelling on the northbound side of highway slowed down for a closer look.   A vehicle struck that car in the rear starting a chain reaction accident. While some reports have placed the number of cars involved at 29, Bradley said that 27 cars were involved resulting in 11 injuries.  Officials withe the Cartersville Medical Center say the injuries range from minor to moderate.  The patient s range in age from 11 to 61 years and are from cities in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama
