WHAT:           As part of its integrated roadside vegetation management program, Georgia DOT Maintenance crews begin today their work on trimming overgrown vegetation along State Route (SR) 3/US 41  and SR 140  in Bartow County, SR 225 and SR 282 in Murray County, and SR 113 in Paulding County.  Work will proceed daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.   Integrated roadside vegetation management is a method to bring together social and cultural elements, biological concerns, and mechanical treatments to economically manage roadsides for motorist safety, environmental health and visual quality.                        

WHEN:          Tuesday, August 11 through Friday, August 14, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
