An additional arrest was made in connection with the shooting incident on Tuesday night.  Thursday night, Equan Green of Cartersville was arrested for affray, aggravated assault, theft by receiving, and possession of one ounce or less of marijuana.

In relation to Green’s arrest, a search warrant was performed on the residence where he was located. Several weapons, stolen guns, and drugs were located during the search. The arrests and charges for this incident are as follows;

Angela Rodgers of Cartersville (theft by receiving, possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, and possession of a dangerous weapon)

Demetres Jett of Cartersville (possession of one ounce or less of marijuana and theft by receiving)

Diamond Loggins of Cartersville (possession of one ounce or less of marijuana and theft by receiving)

Toni Rodgers of Cartersville (possession of one ounce or less of marijuana)

Cedric Jett of Cartersville (possession of one ounce or less of marijuana)

Thomas Hyde of Waukegan Illinois (possession of one ounce or less of marijuana)

Wednesday, in connection with the shooting incident that occurred Tuesday night, three suspects were located and placed into custody. Cartersville Police arrested Cecil Harrish, Kameron Rainer, and James Darns of Cartersville and charged each of them with affray.

Darns received an additional charge of possession of one ounce or less of marijuana.

On Tuesday night at around 7:45, officers were dispatched to a shots fired call on Hannon Way. Upon arrival, officers were notified that a male victim had been shot. Officers were also notified that the suspects had fled the scene.

With immediate coordination with the Cartersville Police Department, Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cartersville-Bartow Drug Task Force, suspect Jordahni Rimpel of Cartersville was located and placed into custody a short time later.

Rimpel has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, affray, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
