Bartow County EMS, Fire, Sheriff’s Office, and Georgia State Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident on Spring Place Road south of State Route 140 near White on Monday night. EMS found the vehicle in the woods approximately 20 yards from the roadway.
A total of five patients were injured. A male with chest trauma is expected to be picked up by a medical helicopter and taken to a level one trauma center. Four EMS ambulances took the other four patients. A male with a possible head injury and a female with a possible pelvic fracture were taken to Floyd Medical Center. A male with neck pain and a female with leg pain were transported to Cartersville Medical Center.
