Four individuals were killed with another three injured in a two-vehicle accident on Towe Chapel Road in Adairsville Friday afternoon. According to the Georgia State Patrol, a beige 1996 Toyota Avalon, failed to stop at a posted stop sign on Towe Chapel Road at GA SR 140 in Bartow County. It entered the path of a green 2004 Ford F-150 pickup and was struck on the driver side. Three occupants in the pickup were transported to Cartersville Medical Center with minor injuries. The four occupants in the sedan succumbed to their injuries as a result of the crash.
The occupants in the sedan were:
Shannon Hartsfield, 41, of Cartersville (Driver) Nancy Evans, 53, of Acworth Richie Willis, 36, of Adairsville, and a 6-year-old juvenile.
